SCHOOL BOND ELECTION

The Laneville ISD Board of Trustees called for a $4,274,300 bond for the November 6, 2018, election. The bond addresses building a new cafeteria, renovating the technology building to make room for the Pre-K and Head Start students, renovating the high school, Jr. High, Ag shop, life skills, administration building, and the old rock building for the elementary students. This bond would also secure the two main points of entry at the high school and the administration office with fencing around the campus. It would also include the demolition the old cafeteria, auditorium, and elementary 4-plex. A new wireless mic system would be installed into the gym as it would also serve as the auditorium. The bond also includes new walkways to each building and new classroom furniture. Early voting at Laneville ISD will take place from Tuesday, October 23 until Friday, November 2 from 8:30-3:00 and Monday, October 22 until Friday, November 3 at the Rusk County Elections Office from 8:00-5:00.

LANEVILLE ISD RECEIVES SIX DISTINCTIONS

Laneville ISD received a rating of "Met Standard" from the Texas Education Agency for the 2017-2018 school year with an overall score of an 85 (B). Laneville ISD also received six distinctions out of seven from the Texas Education Agency for Academic Achievement in Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, Comparative Academic Growth, and Postsecondary Readiness. The Comparative Closing the Gap distinction was missed by only three points. Laneville ranked #2 out of 40 other schools in their campus comparison group as making the most academic student progress. Great job Laneville ISD teachers, students, and parents!

Laneville ISD Receives Superior Score on FIRST Report

Laneville Independent School District is pleased to announce that the district received a superior score for the 2017-2018 under Texas’ Schools FIRST financial accountability rating system. The "Passed" rating is the system's highest and demonstrates the quality of the district's financial management.
